2. Server log files
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically stores the information your browser transmits: the page requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and your IP address. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is generally deleted after no more than 7 days.
3. Contact form and getting in touch
If you contact us via the enquiry form, by email or by phone, we process the details you provide (name, email address, phone number if given, and your message) solely to handle your request and to prepare a possible booking (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Once your request has been dealt with, the data is deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Map display (OpenStreetMap)
To help you find us, we offer a map from OpenStreetMap. The map is only loaded once you click on it. Only then is data (including your IP address) transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. For details, please see the OpenStreetMap privacy policy (openstreetmap.org).
5. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes and does not use any tracking services.
6. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). Please contact hotel@arenainn.de for this. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for us this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
7. Encryption
For security reasons our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise this by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the German privacy policy is the binding version.
